Difference In Build Quality
Surprisingly there isn’t much difference in the build quality among the two. Ripper is lighter than Amped 415. The rail of Ripper is constructed from CNC machined anodized aluminum. There isn’t any physical defect on the anodization or the rail in either of the two. If you prefer lighter crossbow, Ripper has an edge over Amped in that case.
Difference In Speed
Well, there is some misunderstandings which was created by killer instinct. at the very first they made the ripper 415 FPS & later on they upgraded this to the 425 FPS. Where Centerpoint Amped remains at 415 FPS. So there is 10 FPS difference in the speed of them.
Difference Between The Kinetic Energy
It was surprising to see a difference between the two when it comes to generating power. You would expect both to have same or similar energy. You wouldn’t be far from the truth. Amped 415 can generate up to 153ft-lbs of kinetic energy. Using the stock string and arrow you can reach that speed.
Killer Instinct Ripper 415 is capable of generating 149ft-lbs of kinetic energy. Not behind by that much.
Difference In Draw Weight
Another surprise. Both of them have the same 200lbs draw weight and not compatible with any cranking devices. You will need to use a rope cocking device to cut down the draw weight by half of the bow.
Difference On Noise
One thing Killer Instinct Ripper has a clear advantage over the Amped is the noise. Killer Instinct Ripper is deadly silent crossbow with dead silent kit installed on its limbs. They make the crossbow silent and cushions the bow string as well. That reduces the vibration of the crossbow and makes it more accurate on paper. But Amped lacks those abilities to do something similar.

Conclusion: Which One Should You Choose?
Both of them are good option here and the price difference between the two is way to small. You can see from the specification chart how similar both of these crossbows are. It’s hard to declare a clear winner. While Amped is more powerful, Ripper is more silent.
Both of the features are necessary while hunting. Ultimately, you will take whichever crossbow you end up liking the most. Otherwise, whichever you take, you will be one happy camper for sure.
